We are constantly being controlled by our fears; we let fear run every aspect of our lives unintentionally. The fear of being successful and not being able to handle it, also the fear of failure these are not risk-takers. Whenever you feel that deep anxiety just know it’s brain wanting to stay within its comfort zone and not wanting to improve because it’s already analyzing the obstacles ahead. Once we decide that fear will no longer control our lives that's when we will truly be alive.

“When a resolute young fellow steps up to the great bully, the world, and takes him boldly by the beard, he is often surprised to find it comes off in his hand, and that it was only tied on to scare away the timid adventurers.”
— Ralph Waldo Emerson

As humans, we are subconsciously programmed to fear the unknown, hence why we fear death because we are not positive of what comes after death, but if you come to the conclusion that eventually everyone dies anyway that fear vanishes for a brief second.
